Poetry: Jordans

Woke up this morning, and I turned on the news
I was greeted with a story, that I couldn't refuse
It goes something like this, a kid dies over a pair of kicks
People wait in line for days, no showers, it's sick

How to Gain Authority in the Search Engines

Most people in SEO will tell you it's difficult to gain authority in the search engines. This is true because it takes a lot of hard work, and time spent promoting your website. Hallucinogens are Dangerous to Society

I've done my fair share of hallucinogens, and in no way am I advocating drug use. I wrote this blog post to shed light on some potential dangers these drugs could have on society. I can't stress this enough that drugs aren't a toy, and they have serious long lasing effects. After I quit doing hallucinogens, I really started to get withdrawal symptoms. I told myself it wasn't the drugs, but I was positive that they had something to do with my ill feelings. I noticed it was really difficult to concentrate on simple tasks. I couldn't read, watch TV, or go on my computer.

Music: Take Me Away

Last night I cried, I’m tongue tied, so I’ll write this
Mystified at last night’s events
A friend of mine, he caught five, and I spent
The next morning, sorting through what happened
The story goes he didn’t know, the man who shot him
At the ATM, he took out some cash
Not knowing that he wouldn’t come back
Point blank range with perfect aim
No remorse, cold hearted, as the body lay
To rest I found him gone, and now I’m singing this sad song

This helps with targeting an audience based on the stats that are provided. Before this update, Google Analytics users would have to wait 24 hours before the numbers were tallied, but now you can know right at the moment who is on your site, and find ways to cater to those users.

The Internet has Taken Over Everything

The Internet is taking over every business imaginable. Banking over the net has changed everything. Your baking can be done online, as well as managing your account. There is no need to write checks, they are almost non-existent. The movie industry is also affected by the Internet, it hurts movie sales because people just download the movies.

Music has been hit with the Internet curse because people rarely buy Cd's now. Every song can be downloaded just like movies. You have to ask yourself is the Internet helping or hurting businesses? While it seems like it is helping, it is doing damage in the process.

The newspaper companies have also been hit because everything in the papers can be read over the net. Major businesses have all felt the venomous sting of the Internet. Buying merchandise online is more convenient than purchasing it at the store. What else will the Internet take over?

What Can't Cellphones Do?

Cellphones can do more tasks than some computers. With all the apps that are available today, there is nothing you cannot do with these devices. The video chat feature is a good and bad invention. If you are a liar then it may be a bad device.

If you say you are somewhere the video chat will reveal your true location. It is good to stay in touch with friends because you can see their face, instead of just hearing a voice. Cellphones can recognize your voice and dial numbers, type, and give you directions.

The manufactures of these cellphones are in a sense running out of ideas. What else can a cellphone do that has not been done already? It seems that there are new cellphones available every week. I would like to see a cellphone that can pay the bills, then I will be happy. What are your thoughts on the whole cellphone phenomenon?

How Does My Plumbing System Work?

Homeowners need to know some basic tips of plumbing in case there is an emergency. It is a good idea to locate the water source to your home. Generally, these are located outside your home, and some of them require a key for operation. You can use the key to turn on and turn off the water supply to your home.

The water travels from the water valve outside your home into your water heater. The water is then split into two pipes one hot and one cold. These pipes are made up of two materials copper, and steel. The larger the pipes you have in your home, will equate to better water pressure. Homes with a weaker water pressure you should upgrade to bigger pipes, to increase the flow of water.

Your home has a sophisticated drainpipe system, and it starts with the main stack. The main stack is the pipe that travels from the sewer line into your home. This pipe travels throughout your home, and it is ventilated out the roof of your home. This provides a free flowing air to combat a blockage in your plumbing system.

In order for the water to flow into the main stack, the water needs to flow downhill. The pipes are connected to the main stack, and they are strategically placed to ensure the water flow is uninterrupted. A drainage system that flows slowly, smoothly, and without sharp turns is the best system to own.

If you have a blockage in your plumbing system, there are clean out spots located at the end of pipes. These can be opened by yourself or by a professional to remove a clog in the drain. The stack is where most problems arise, so check there first if you have any leaks or clogs.

5 Tips to Make Your Website Mobile Friendly

Cellphones are being used for everyday tasks such as ordering merchandise online, surfing the web, and reading articles. As a small business, you need a way to market your products more effectively. Mobile marketing provides an outlet that has potential to be an avenue of revenue. The future of marketing is going towards mobile interaction, and this will be the majority of your customers. Staying ahead on top of the latest technology trends, will make your business thrive and succeed. Knowing how to market on a new platform is tough, but with a little research, you won’t be in the dark. I know you might be confused about where to start, but this article will guide you in the right direction.

Mobile Optimization

The first step is to optimize your website for mobile visitors. This will display you websites content to be viewable on smart phones. Without your site being optimized it you will lose traffic, and that could be avoided. Utilize text-message marketing to draw new customers to your business. SMS text-message marketing is more effective because people will read them more often than emails. Choose how you will display these ads to your consumer.

Avoid Flash and Java

Small business marketing you should not use Flash and Java products in your website. Most mobile phones cannot view this type of content. Try to avoid using pop-ups in your website because mobile phones have a hard time displaying these windows. Limiting your text and images will make load times faster for mobile users. Mobile users will appreciate that you cater to their needs, and it will reflect in your overall sales.

Mobile Friendly Websites Equals Success

Think of how the mobile users will navigate your site, you can provide touch-screen options and menus on your website. This will make it easier for the public to access your site via smart phone. Provide your visitors with easier visibility of your website, which will keep the cellphone users from using the zooming in feature. A good idea would be to equip your website with mobile redirects. When users visit your web page, they are automatically directed to the mobile version of your site.

QR Codes are a Great Marketing Tool

A QR (quick response) code can be a useful tool because cellphone users can scan the bar code, to read reviews about your business. It will also provide all of your contact information in case they have any questions. These bar codes can be found at some local businesses such as restaurants, retail stores, and shopping centers. You can order a QR code for your business from Google, and you can place this on the window of your business.

Integrating Mobile Commerce into Your Website

Every site should have the mobile commerce available for purchases being made with smart phones. Marketing for small business has changed, now there is more technology for marketers to utilize.

How to Remove a Mole

Mole removal is easy to do if you have the right tools. The only thing you need to remove a mole is a piece of dental floss. You can lift up the mole and knot the string around the base.

Make sure the string is tied tight enough because you want to stop blood from circulating to the area. After you have tied the dental floss, cut off the remainder of the floss, so there are no loose pieces.

The next step in the mole removal is to leave the dental floss on for two days. This should make the mole turn black. Do not remove the floss; the mole should fall off on its own.

Once you remove the mole, it will leave a red mark or a slight discoloration. Check with your doctor to see if this method is safe for you. This usually works for non-cancerous moles, and it can save you multiple trips to the doctor.

How To Write Poetry

Poetry is a way to express yourself through words. The key to good poetry is to invoke emotion in the reader. This can be done in many ways from the word choice, tone, and imagery. You want to paint a picture as clearly as possible. The reader should understand immediately what you are trying to convey. Start off with smaller poems and work your way up to longer ones.

Vocabulary is everything when writing poetry, so use descriptive words when you write your poem. Some things you want to avoid when writing poems is basic nursery rhymes. Try to think outside the box and use words that the reader will not expect to rhyme.

Also, if you are writing poems online try not to make it too personal. You want to be able to connect with a wider audience. Finally, read other poets and find a style you like, but put your own unique spin on the writing.

Cold Air Intake System: Pros and Cons

What is a Cold Air Intake System?

Cold air intake is a third party upgrade for the engine to increase the car's horsepower. When this kit is installed, it sends cold air to the engine, which makes the car run more efficiently. There are many intake systems available, so you will need to choose the one that corresponds to the model of your car.

Pros

The cold air intake system will provide you with a slight increase in horsepower. Most Cold air intake kits will give you about 5 - 10 hp, while this may not seem like a substantial increase, users have reported they have seen an improvement in performance. Another benefit of the cold air intake system is it will lower your fuel consumption because it keeps the engine from running hot. With this system installed you will get better gas mileage, which this cannot be achieved from your stock engine.

Cons

The biggest disadvantage of a cold air intake system is it could void your warranty. If you install third party or aftermarket parts, and something goes wrong during installation, the car company may not want to repair the car. Also, since the exhaust is lower to the ground, this will allow water to flood the engine, and it could potentially create hydro-lock. The filter needs to be cleaned often or it could affect the performance. The exhaust will be noticeably louder with the cold air intake system, this can be seen as an advantage or a disadvantage it depends on the person.

The E Cig is Media Friendly

The e cig has been a wonderful alternative to smoking. It is the newest anti - smoking aid and has been getting rave reviews. Smoking is not the same with this device. It comes with cartridges that screw into place, and you will receive nicotine with each puff.

There are many flavors that compliment the smoking experience nicely. The funny thing about the device is there is not any smoke. The e cig is all vapor and you can smoke them almost anywhere. The device is as light as the normal cigarette, but a little heavier.

It is a good invention and it seems to be getting a lot of attention from the media. Will this electronic cigarette rival the classic cigarette? It could definitely be that way, but it has not been confirmed. Vendors of the e cig have reported that business is booming. Just try them for yourself and give your testimony about this cigarette.

Electronics in Movies

Electronics have become a major help in the last hundred years. Everything can be done without straining your brain. It really improves your way of living because you can save time in your daily routine. These gadgets are in movies to advertise something subliminally.

For example, the lead character might be using an iPhone in the scene. The camera might show for a brief second of a messy room, with all types of popular electronics in the background. Movie producers have used this technique for quite some time, to advertise and market a specific brand.

Most people will not notice these hidden products because they are focused on watching the movie. Watch a movie an see how many electronics you can spot in the background. I have tested this already, and I was surprised at the results. I found on numerous occasions there were some type of electronics being advertised.

The Fast Car Culture

The speedy cars racing down the street, without a care in the world. What is making a car go so fast? The engine has something to do with that because without HP (horse power). Without horse power your car will drive slowly on the streets. Many people mod their cars, to push the cars limits far beyond factory settings.

Some of these mods are not covered by the cars warranty. Fast cars are an underground culture with import cars being at most known. The culture of racing and modding your car to outperform other cars dates back for a long time. Thrill seekers are driving these cars to get an adrenaline rush.

Some of the mods include buying a new exhaust system for your car. It is said to produce between 10-20 hp. While that does not seem like much, but every little bit counts. Changing the headers on the car will make it perform faster, but they tend to be expensive.

Computer Monitor Shopping

When choosing a computer monitor there are things to keep in mind. The resolution on the monitor is the great. If you do not believe this is something you should look out for then try it out. The next time you go to purchase a computer monitor then look for the screen resolution.

Believe me it really makes a difference, when you want to watch videos. The monitor can be adjusted if you have trouble with eye strain. Turn down the brightness on the screen because this can cause headaches. Also, the sharpness can be set to a low setting if you like a smoother picture.

Gaming on a monitor can be very cool, but you will need a top of the line monitor to get great results. Ask the salesman at the store what would they suggest a good computer monitor to buy. These tips will help you shop for that new monitor.

Acne Solutions

Having acne will make you feel depressed because you will feel people are always looking at your face. You can do something about it or you can sit and feel sorry for yourself. The best thing you should do is figure out the cause of the acne.

It could come from eating food that does not agree with your face. Testing foods that you eat to see if you develop a pimple, can help you fight the problem. Oiliness of the face will cause you to break out in bumps all over your face. You should wash your face everyday, to avoid the build up of oil and other bacteria.

Washing your face with a warm washcloth is a good defense to fighting acne. Stress can cause acne as well, you should try to keep your stress levels under control. Going to the doctor is the final solution if everything else does not work.

Cigar Smoke Speaks Wonders

A relaxing day of sitting at home all day and smoking some cigars. The taste is settling on my tongue, and the aroma of the paper burning is soothing. I open the the pack of cigars to put one up to my nose. The smell is over powering and it fills the room quickly.

The smoke is thick and lingers in the air, like a dark cloud of doom. With each puff I slowly exhale and taste the full flavor in each cigar. I like smoking because it puts me into another state of mind. This feeling is comparable to pure bliss, but is often accompanied by sickness.

Inhaling the smoke can make you feel nauseous. You are not suppose to inhale cigar smoke, but sometimes you cannot help doing it by accident. I wanted to find cigars on sale, but I came up short with my attempt to find something decent to smoke.

Hypnosis Will Solve Your Money Problems

Hypnosis is a trance-induced state of relaxation, where the mind is open to suggestions. This state is usually accompanied by an aware, but dreamy like trance. Most people under hypnosis are not aware of their actions, and they faintly remember what they did while under this spell. The first hypnotist was a man named James Braid. He studied this new technique of concentrating the mind in a relaxed state, which this was later coined as “hypnosis.” He would have the person concentrate on a fixed point, and then he would offer suggestions, or as he referred to them as dominant ideas. These ideas would influence the human mind in astounding ways, allowing him to control whomever he hypnotized.

Learning how to hypnosis someone is beneficial because it allows you to tap into the subconscious mind. You will have the power to get answers to a person’s deepest darkest thoughts. When a professional performs hypnosis, it can be therapeutic in a way. Problems and fears will rise to the surface, allowing the person under hypnosis, to walk away from the experience with a new perspective. It can also be used to break bad habits. The hypnotist will induce the person into a deep sleep, and make suggestions to the subconscious mind, to break those bad habits. It has been successful in most people, but there are some people who are not susceptible to hypnosis.

Imagine what you could do with this newfound power. It’s like having a person at your mercy, and they will listen to your every word. Think about that person you always had a crush on in your life, and you hypnotized them into loving you. You could hypnotize a person to make more money, and live a better life. The thought almost seems impossible, that you could hypnotize someone, and reprogram his or her mind to a more successful person. If this can be applied to someone’s financial situation, it could also be applied to a person's health as well.

The way hypnosis works is you would lie down and try to relax. The hypnotist would then make suggestions to you, allowing you to fall into a deep sleep. Usually the hypnotist will provide you with a focal point; this could be a pocket watch, or a pendant. He will then waive the pendant back and forth while asking you to take deep breaths. You will likely feel very sleepy at this point, and your eyes will close. This is where he will suggest to the mind to solve the problems in your life. These could be emotional problems, or financial problems, but at the end of the session they will be solved.

While most people see hypnosis as a mere joke, it is being widely used to change people’s lives. Your money troubles is a state of mind. These thoughts can be erased from your head, and replaced with more motivating ones. The fear of failure will not be able to keep you down. With hypnosis, you can help yourself, and the  people around you by learning these techniques, so what are you waiting for?
