Poetry: I'll walk at my own pace
I'll walk at my own pace
Nice and slow, it's no hurry
I have no place to go
I've set my sights on
Being content with what I have
I showered myself in rain
Because I hate taking baths
The trees look so calm
I think ones winking at me
Just taking a stroll
A bunny rabbit asks
"Do you remember me?"
Startled I was, but so intrigued
As a kid this bunny
Was given to me
I was in the fourth grade
My dad came home
The bunny was a present from him
I showered him in love
The bunny was given away
I hated that day
I'll walk at my own pace
Down memory lane
