Poetry: Flight 911

I said " I love you too."
She gave me a smile
I thought I would see her again
The way she looked at me

Before she boarded that plane
This was the happiest she's ever been
In all of her life, and something
Told me not to let her board that flight

I remember her perfume it smelled
Like candy, and the dimples in her
Smile as well as her pearly white teeth
We embraced one last time

I still have the lipstick on
the collar of my shirt
She waived goodbye, and just like
That she was gone forever
Resting in eternal sleep
Goodbye my love R.I.P
