Poetry: In The Deep End of Love
I'm a shallow guy
We just can't be friends
I fell in the deep end of love
I couldn't breathe air
With each breath
My lungs filled with love
It consumed my very being
The blood in my veins
Were replaced with water
I couldn't hear my family's disapproval
My ears were waterlogged
With the sound of my own heartbeat
She was the one, and I knew it
I drowned in love
I cried for help
But no one answered me.
