Poetry: The Artist

Painting his pain with his paintbrush
Color pumps through his veins
He gets high on portraits and outlines
That rush of painting the perfect stroke
He has a love affair with his palette
A little bit of this
A little bit of that
He throws a dash of creativity
In his art stew
The melting pot of color begins
He merges fact with fiction
In the ultimate harmony
Between canvas and color
Immaculate detail borders OCD
He stops at nothing to finish
Like no other....the artist

How to Get a Job Drawing

Drawing is great for expressing yourself, and if you keep at it you will be great. You can take drawing classes or learn on your own. Looking at other peoples art can spark some interest, and could lead to imaginative ideas.

There are many mediums for art, which can be expressed in a number of ways. Practice is the only way you will get better at drawing. You should set aside at least one to two hours to sketch on a drawing pad. These exercises will help you master your craft, and they will make you faster at drawing.

College schools have special classes to help with making your art better. If you are serious about your art you can find a job doing what you love. Artists are needed for many jobs, and there is not a shortage of work. The movies use drawings as a base for many characters.
